Sausages: to prick or not to prick?
There are so many ways to cook a sausage, and believe us, we have tried them all!
Best of all, we love ours baked in the oven, in a casserole dish, at 190°C for 25-30 minutes, turning once.
And we never prick our sausages! When you prick a sausage, all the lovely juices run out, leaving it much dryer than it is intended. So pricking sausages reduces succulence and increases splitting. Keep them juicy!
