Elwyn hikes Mount Everest for worthy cause
Following many major fundraising initiatives over the years, our colleague Elwyn Pugh has launched his Up For Downs campaign. Not one to shy away from a challenge, he hiked 5,500 metres up Mount Everest to Kala Patthar (that’s past Base Camp!) in March this year. This somewhat hair-raising feat saw him raise money for Down’s Syndrome Group in Northampton – with an aim of raising over £50,000.
An incredible amount of money has already been raised, but he is still aiming to reach his target. If you can support this worthy cause, which also sees additional funds being donated towards the care and rehabilitation of Zach Kilkenny, son of Jane Kilkenny, our friend and colleague, please do so here.
